"The Omi Universe", "The Omi", or just "Omi", is an encapsulation of species, planets, and languages created by me.

Magic

Magic comes from arcanons, an elementary particle produced by high energy reactions, such as galactic events, nuclear events, earthquakes, electrostatic discharge, and more. Arcanons modify the strength of other particle interactions, primarily at the expense of heat or heavily refracted light. The effect increases exponentially to the concentration of arcanons.

Storage and Harnessing

Different crystals, lattices, sizes, and cuts produce different behaviors with arcanon radiation.
Base Interaction Radius
A charged crystal projects a radiation field whose intensity decreases with distance according to the inverse-square law, but increases exponentially with arcanon concentration, which can be represented by the equation
R = ∛(V) * eⁿ
where R is the length of the field in units, V is the volume of the crystal in units³, e is Euler's number, and n is the number of arcanons in the crystal in mol.
Basic Lattice Interactions
What the arcanons affect based on the crystal's structure. The math for this is beyond me, so I'm going to try my best to keep it balanced without hard and fast math.
