Oakozhposh ukshako ("Soldiers of Shako"), or Suko for short, is the primary nation of Ictuza. It was founded after the first large-scale battle for territory, where groups of soldiers settled into their forts and converted them into livable housing and cities. Multiple forts from different territories either agreed or were forced to join this new nation. Citizens of Suko are known as Sukozh, and the primary language spoken is Ictuk. Many Sukozh value justice, honor, and rights to resources as stated by the Nguho Ukshako ("Shako's Ideas"), or Ngusko for short. The largest and only legal religion in Suko is Ukshako ("Of Shako").

Suko is very densely packed country built around trade and mass travel. Everything is connected in a way to get to the capital city, Uaqu, which acts as a distribution and political command center.
Suko runs on a council of monarchs, where each city has its own queen. Each queen convenes once a year, or more during wartime, at the capital to discuss greater ordeals. The capital also releases a set of laws and structures in multiple areas for individual cities to follow.
Each city's government has a set of branches as defined by the capital's Uaquhumbaqo ("Uaqu Branch Rules") that all report to the city's queen.
Suko is in the Information or Modern Age. However, magical technology has only begun to become more complex and industrialized.
Ictuza name themselves when they feel they are ready, often around puberty. They choose full phrases that resonate the most with them for their legal name, and shorten it in casual conversation. There is no convention for shortening names, it's up to the person. Ictuza don't necessarily have last names, though if they cross through other cities they indicate this after their name. For example, if someone named tushkaoakozhposh ("The Crystal Soldier"), or tushkozh for short, lived in the Capital and was passing through another city, they might say their name is formally tushkaoakozhposh ukuaqu ("The Crystal Soldier of Uaqu").
In public or at formal events, Ictuza are required to wear something at least covering the bottom half of their torso. Most Ictuza choose to wear a clippable robe that they often stylize to their liking using dyes in the creation of the robe, or using their own paints afterwards. The robe typically has 1-3 buttons at the top, holes for the wings, and the rest of the fabric cascades over the Ictuza body. In private settings, no clothing is considered normal and common when no larvae are present.
