In November of 2024 I started interning at an office job for software development in a programming language known as LabVIEW. For the first 2 or so months I trained through their Core 1 and Core 2 program which taught me the basics, then over time I applied this new knowledge to more projects.
My dream job is likely something in data science.
For about a year and a half I worked at a McAlister's as my first job. They made me the dishwasher and I stayed as the dishwasher pretty much the whole time. I started "optimizing" my methods to fit dishes in a tray and found a cycle that worked the fastest for me. It was a good way to make my shifts a little less slow.
I worked here for 2 years--it came up as an opportunity through one of my highschool coding classes-- and it was certainly an upgrade from McAlister's. It was primarily manual labor, as we handled the decasing, recasing, and updating of thousands of iPads.
